New Colleagues

Our New Colleagues in the Department „Radiation-curing Foil Coatings“

Our laboratory team has been enhanced parallel to the completion of the newly built laboratory for radiation-curing foil coatings. Dieter Richter, Manager of the laboratory, has welcomed two new employees to his team.

Inessa Wolf strengthens several fields of the development and research department. As a graduate of studies of chemistry she is, besides others, responsible for the tests with the new IR spectroscope. IR spectroscopy provides conclusions about the structure of molecules and allows their qualitative analysis. It is a part of purposeful development and optimization of our coatings. In addition Inessa Wolf has several years of experience as a chemistry teacher at a vocational school and has assumed responsibility for the planning, structuring and organisation of our training program in the field coating laboratory technician.

From our training department we have taken on the former trainee Marcel Wötzel. In the development & research department of the radiation-curing coating systems he supports, in particular, quality assurance for coating developments. Furthermore Marcel Wötzel is a radiation protection commissioner.

As early as in his training period he was a training ambassador. Today he is committed – together with the trainees in the company – to the profession of coating laboratory technician and organises various pupils‘ days or the well-known Girls‘ Day. „As this profession does not rank highly in the attractiveness for young people I am all the more pleased to note that especially young employees are so committed in this field and spread enthusiasm“, comments gladly our managing partner Hanno Baumann.
